The brains behind PHC Digital Ltd is Pete Henshall. Pete started in the industry in 2000 during the dot com boom working as Technical Manager for a national Internet Service Provider (ISP). Having gained a wealth of invaluable experience including building an entire ISP and all services (web, mail, DNS, RADIUS and much more) from the ground up in Telehouse Data Centre in Docklands, London and building various early web applications. Pete then decided it was time to move into application development and started working with various companies to help them build their web applications.
Over 20 years of experience has given Pete and his team at PHC Digital Ltd real world, applicable and practical experience managing long term web applications and SaaS solutions. We have seen it done in so many ways and have a reliable, reproducible way of managing web application and SaaS software development projects based upon AGILE practices. We believe in the ‘One Team’ mentally and work closely inside your core team with your Subject Matter Expert to keep in regular contact making sure all stakeholders have a clear understanding of where the team is at each stage of your product development.
We match the technology to the solution but generally have foundations in AWS and Google Cloud running various PHP8 API and MVC frameworks (including Yii2, Laravel and Symfony), Python (including Flask), Go (native) and relational (MySQL) and document based (MongoDB) databases.
The preferred approach is building well tested, scalable API powered applications running modern, proven JavaScript frameworks such as Vue3.
